          Event Health & Safety Management Policy

          A sensor crewmember will be nominated as Orange Audio on site 
          manager, who will be responsible for handling of Orange Audio 
          working arrangements

          Nominated Manager Task & Duties

  • To contact and liaison with client.
  • To carry out production location survey, including safe working practises.
  • To familiar them self with the logistics of installation (get in) and dismantle
    (get out) of products and equipment supplied by Orange Audio.
  • To view any risk assessment reports made by the client/promote/organiser/
    local authority
  • To make ready a report of risk assessment for Orange Audio...
  • To make the client aware of any issues relating to logistics or heath & safety
    of the production being handled by Orange Audio.
  • To over see the heath & safety of all Orange Audio staff, our sub contract staff,
    products and equipment being supplied for the duration of the event.
  • To be made available for the length of the event, for the client or there
    representative to be able to liaison with.
  • To assure heath & safety working practises at all times, and to report any
    failures of practise.

   

          STATEMENT OF WORKING PROCEDURE

  • Establish site perimeters for our delivery vehicles. (Get In).
  • The unloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Establish location of power supply.
  • Establish first aid point, locate fire exits, and fire fright equipment.
  • Set-up lighting components/loudspeaker clusters and flyware.
  • Run audio/lighting controls, cables and power lines
  • Carryout safety checks to all products/equipment supplied by Orange Audio.
  • Check site for potential hazards, tripping and combustible material.
  • Brief all Orange Audio staff, our sub contacts staff, on equipment installation
    and dismantle procedure plan, heath & safety practices and emergency
    evacuation plan.
  • Establish a time to test all performance systems, there functions, operating
    levels and boundaries
  • Monitor all systems levels during the performance of the event.
  • Switch off all power supply to our products and equipment prior to
    dismantles (Get Out).
  • Follow the dismantling (Get Out) procedure plan.

          PLAN OF CONTINGENCY

          Great care is taken by Orange Audio to ensure the
          safety of all concerned with our products and 
          equipment supplied, and that it’s  installed in the
          correct manner, following heath & safety procedures.

          The event organiser should compile an event contingency
          plan for the use of in the case of any emergency.
